We honour the many First Nations who have lived, birthed, and thrived on the lands now called British Columbia since time immemorial. These lands hold the stories, languages, and teachings of countless Indigenous Peoples, each with their own deep connections to place.

As an Indigenous organization, we carry our responsibility to walk gently, in respect for the ancestors who came before us and the generations yet to come. Our work is rooted in the strength, wisdom, and sovereignty of the Nations whose lands we live and work upon, and we are grateful to be part of the ongoing story of these lands.
